I manage thirty engineers across five squads — five tech leads and twenty-five developers — in health insurance. Systems where an automated decision has to be explainable after the fact, and where traceability is not a comfort feature.

Before that, fifteen years of engineering and team leadership. Capital markets software, two years based in Morocco then two in Ireland. Assignments in energy. Then eight years in the same company, from project delivery to organisational management.

Alongside that, I run a self-hosted LLM inference system I built and instrumented myself. The point is not the demonstration: it is to know first hand what such a system costs, what limits it, and what gives way as volume grows. The task is not retrieval: it is exhaustive extraction. A deterministic pipeline, followed by local classification.
